For those looking to join a scouting troop, you've come to the right place. Troop 14 is a unique Boy Scout troop that provides leadership training combined with fun activities. Unlike other troops, there is less pressure, dedicated parental involvement, and more scout empowerment. Our small size makes us a unique and fun family extension. Boy Scouting is intended to aid a boy in the process of developing into a young man. The major purposes of Scouting are the development of CHARACTER (personal qualities, values, and outlook), CITIZENSHIP (relationship and obligations to other people, society, and government), and FITNESS (physical, emotional, and moral). The Principles of Scouting are stated in the Scout Oath, 12 points of the Scout Law, Motto, and Slogan.
